Burning Box calls

Gentlemen-

Just checking out this site and admiring Warbird's craftsmanship and thought I'd share what I do here with y'all. I mostly mess with making field quality calls but I like to dress them up a little with a burning tool to give em' some character. This one's American Chestnut and sounds pretty dirty. Here's an after shot on its first day in the woods.

Very nice job. I am a sucker for chestnut too. Keep the pictures coming. There is getting quite a large group of callmakers here and some fine work.
BTW I can't help but think of Jeff Foxworthy's bits on kids and woodburning kits. The one about branding cats is really funny.

Nice job with the wood burning congrats. on the bird and the call and welcome to the forum,now that's a mouthfull. Your wood burning is very detailed that's very nice.
Scott-Willow Ridge- is also becoming very proficient with burning also, he built a Gibson box call for me and did a beautiful wood burning job on it.
