Shad's Turpin

Shad had asked me to build him a turpin to match his other set of calls. It's a curly maple with a curly walnut lid.

Shad you are one very lucky man. That is some beautiful grain in that walnut paddle, Scott! I'm very jealous right now.

I've wanted one since I saw the first one Scott posted. This makes a fine addition to my collection and makes a complete 3 piece set of boxes.

Sweet looking call I really like the grain on the walnut lid.
