Flamed Box Elder pics 1

I have been working on this call for three years now. It is flamed box elder burl and the design that i chose was just, "natural". I didn't want to do my craving on this one as I felt it would take away from the natural voids and worm holes that make this piece Beautiful. After many hours of working this wood and a very long time waiting for it to slowly dry she is done. The striker is black walnut cut here in western NY and flamed box elder burl. She is set up as glass over glass with a picture sent to me by our friend Shad Arington. Thanks Shad for helping me make this very special call even more valuable. I am very pleased to have finally completed this piece.
