The first one is a nicely figured buckeye burl, anodized aluminum over glass. Beautiful wood

The next one is an Oregon myrtle pot, copper over glass. Deep, RASPY call!!!!!

Those are some pretty calls. I would image that Buckeye can be difficult to turn with the natural occlusions in the wood. I have turn Buckeye burl in pens and they are alot smaller and had to deal with the occlusions. Excellent job.

That buckeye burl kicks butt !!!!! Very nice looking calls misfire.
