The workmanship in that call is outstanding and that is some of the best looking butternut and canary wood I have seen in a long time.
I also like your new style with the handle on the short box and the base extending the length of the handle. Since I heard it over the phone today I know it is all turkey and will do its part to keep the turkey population in check this fall in Pa. Thanks Al and Josh for another fine call to add to my ever growing S.S. collection.

I agree with Jon, that is a stunning box and I think the canary matches the butternut very nicely. I love the looks and style of that box and I look forward to seeing many of the calls you share with us!!!

Scott, I haven't built a hen box in a while.. I messed around with them some but I think I'm gonna stick with the Cost style boxes right now.
Thanks for the nice comments guys! I'll see about postin' some scratchers up.

Here's some links to some scrath boxes we've done before. Hope it's not too many links.. lol

I received this call last week the sound is pure turkey with a excellent break and roll over. The Canary/Butternut is a very good wood combo.
I also like the way it fits in your hand you can operate the call without touching the box , the extend handle is a good idea.
Thanks Al and Josh for another turkey killer.
