This is my first post here! [:D]

I remember early on in my Turkey Hunting days reading an article about cammo, its use and how its used to break up your outline (the goal of cammo)

Well the article stressed the importance of mix and max patterns. The jest of the article was that the bottoms should match the forest floor and and the top half should resemble the greenery around you. So early on in the season, with little ground cover, your pants would have a more fall looking pattern, while the uppers would contain more green colors since the foilage was starting to fill in.

I mix and match trying to match the surrounding greens, browns, grays, leaves or wateva! Seems to work, but movement is still key too.

It doesn't matter at all. I mix and match all the time.

Heck I can remember when I was just a kid in upstate NY me and my friends would go out in our work boots , blue jeans and carhart jackets and call birds in by mouth (mind you we were 11-13 y/o at the time and this was 1982-84)  and they would come right in.  I say camo is obviously awesome and to helps but not moving is the key.
