California Turkey Spots?

Hey, I'm just kinda gettin' started at this whole huntin' turkeys thing... Does anyone know of any good spots to hunt turkeys in Northern/Central California (Sacramento area)? Or even just what kind of land/terrain to look for turkeys in? Thanks!

Rolling oaks with scattered diger pines is what you want to look for, but their are a lot of turkeys in the high elevation in national forest. After saying that, turkeys are expanding so much out here that they could pretty much be anywhere.
We are having our NWTF banquet tomorrow (Sat. March 20th) up in Lincoln, you will be able to meet fellow turkey hunters there and get some info.
