I use the Flambeau jake also, he has been charged several times also. I just put him out with a couple of hens, looking them over. when a Tom sees it they get mad,

Here is a jake decoy that I was thinking about getting.

Anyone use this or have any other opinions?

Here is an article that talks about decoy setups throughout the season.

$50.00, whooee, a little steep IMO, my jake is an old hard body carrylite, that I've had for 20+ years! no strut, I just painted the head and put on a jake beard I stumbled upon  , I did buy a basspro, look back hen this year, to replace a very old feather flex that had been repaired more than once, I put out a feeding hen, and my new one + the jake, facing me, last year I had 3 gobblers come into my setup, killed 2, one at the beginning of the season, the 2nd the last day I could go in the middle of May.....I have a mature strutter that I put out occasionally, never had one come into a setup with him...
