I've been watching this with fascination for a couple days. I understand that no one wants to brag, but some of you boys are layin' in the weeds. Am I to believe that Gobblerman, Misfire and myself are the only three hunters out of 19 that are "Very" experienced? I distinctly saw three levels to choose from. And somewhere along the way "Predicted Gobbler Harvest" (which would entail some measure of confidence) evolved into the number of tags in possession (which doesn't exhibit much).
 
No disrespect meant and we're probably splitting hairs here, but you're not going to make it easy for Jim when it comes to choosing up teams. Sandbaggers... LOL.

I'm very experienced at getting used by gobblers and VERY lucky that I've been able to use both tags the last ten years.

It was..a...simple oversight on my part of course...or I could be looking for an edge......or....maybe I accidently deleted "very" by mistake..at any rate I'll make the correction...."very beginner" and I have one tag if I can find it

How about a seperate personal award for the highest scoring Eastern, Rio, Merriam, Osceola, Oscellated and Gould turkey per NWTF scoring guidelines?

Of course this would require everyone to score their bird but it is easy to do and it might just add a little bit more to the competition. I also realize that MN has the largest Easterns out there and eveyone else is at a disadvantage compared to me (LOL!!!) but it might be fun.[:D]

Just an idea to see how big the birds are that people are harvesting and who would get bragging rights for that species for the year.[8|]

If need be I am an engineer (therefore a numbers dork) and pretty good at excel spreadsheets so I could keep track of this if there is enough interest.

after 30 plus years of hunting turkeys i must admit there are times when things go as planned and i feel that i'm very experienced. then there are times when i'm standing there scratching my head and wondering if i know anything about turkeys[:D] wayne
