Ok Raiders let's see where we are for the season. I'm "first in" here in South Carolina. March 15th is opening day. Season is open for a month and a half and I can hunt the entire time, and I get 5 tags. This is only my 3rd turkey season. I have taken a bird each year so far. I am planning at least 2 this year if I can keep myself from freaking out. If I had stayed calm last year I probably could've killed 10, lol. I hunt some great private ground and have 2 very experienced hunters that are mentoring me. How is everyone else looking for the season?

OK We'll see if I got the sig pic down with this post.

Looks like I will be starting April 9th which is the WY opener or I may wait until the following Mon or Tues to let the crowds die down.

Then off to Neb on Thurs or Fri (to scout a bit) to catch their opener on Sat April 16th. Then I play it by ear depending what I have got as far as turks go. Could be WY & MT, or NE & MT.

Hope to squeeze Ks in after that which would be end of April begining May.

Need to be in Wis a few days before their 5th season which opens May 11th and I will also hunt MI afew days and then back to Wis for 6th season which opens May 16th. 6th season runs to the 22nd and on the 23rd...I plan on sleeping.[:D]

Thats what it looks like now anyways...plans subject to chage at anytime.[8|]
As far as this turkey thing......I know enough...to know enough...that I don't know enough

Well April 16th - May 8th is my season. Ive been turkey hunting for 7 yrs and last year was the first time I had tag soup during a season. The main reason for the soup was because I lost 3 farms that I have been hunting and had to go to a new place. I am determined not to have tag soup again and I will get my limit of 2 birds this year, hopefully.

I've been out scouting the last 2 days. They were gobbling both days, and saw a few in the roads. They are still pretty flocked up but they seem to be solo in the late mornings.

Alright guys I start March 19 in Florida and I will be hunting until the 23. Im hoping to get my Dads bird out of the way early. Then I will be able to try and get on the board. Our seasons starts April 9 here in Virginia and goes to May 14th. I have 3 weeks vacation scheduled for our season and I will be able to hunt everyday before work. We get 3 tags in Virginia. I have to try and get my wife, 2 nephews and my buddy from Florida a bird before I get to tote the gun in Virginia but should be in good shape by week 2.

Morgan Good Luck tommorow I won't be far behind you.
