Will anyone be hunting next week? Just wondering if I was leading off.
It was raining here today, which is actually youth week kickoff. I am hoping we do not get shocked with some 20's and 30's. My birds don't get vocal until about April.
Until then they like to keep everything on the down low.
Went to my spot last weekend and did see tracks, which is a plus. Same travel routes as always.
I have a score to settle with an old bird from last year. You fella's root for me cuz' he is a stubborn fella.

Turkeys on a Plane- We Bring It

Kind of sounds like a bad bird story, hopefully you get him and it also sounds like you will be the first one out. I am still waiting to get a license and here are my hopeful dates.

This is my states an my hopeful harvest.
MN-1 April 27-May 2 near Barnesville MN, tags go on sale March 14th at 5:00 p.m.
WI-1 May 4-8 I am taking Thursday and Friday off from work to go backpacking/camping in the St Croix Natioanl Park near Osceola WI. Permits go on sale March 24th.
