After a heated competition, and much pouring over the creations from some of the top turkey call makers in the country, the Turkey & Turkey Hunting forum members pick their favorite friction call based on recorded sound quality. This was their top choice.

Congratulations to Tom Tiberi, who took first place in the Readers' Choice portion (friction calls) of the Grand Slam Turkey Call Competition. Forum members listened to recordings of calls made by this talented maker and voted it their favorite.

Tom Tiberi, 50, of Fairbank, Pa., took first place in the online Readers' Choice contest and third place in the Working Friction Call category with his slate over glass in a turned walnut pot with a purple heart striker and hickory top.
