It’s a great time to be a turkey hunter. With an estimated 6.4 million wild turkeys in North America and open hunting seasons in 49 states and Ontario, opportunities to pursue spring gobblers are almost beyond comprehension.

With four subspecies (plus the Gould’s in Mexico), sorting out your options is a real challenge. Whether hunting at home or traveling, you’ll need the details.
