The Interchangeable Paddle System from Extreme Outdoors gives you up to six box calls in one. A special spring/screw system lets you quickly remove the paddle from the IPS box and replace it with another, giving you a different tone, pitch and sound. Each IPS kit comes with three paddles: walnut, butternut and cherry. Simply relocate the paddle to one side of the box, rotate it up 45 degrees, push the paddle down on the spring and pull the paddle off to the side. Then, reverse the process to insert another paddle. Also, walnut, butternut, cherry, padauk, osage orange and red cedar paddles are sold separately. Contact Extreme Outdoors at www.reengineeringthehunt.com.

Ring Zone calls from Hunter’s Specialties were tested with an oscilloscope to create a call that matches the pitch and frequency of a live hen. The call’s outer ring keeps your fingers off the calling surface to eliminate dampening sound. The Ring Zones have more than 200 percent more resonating surface than most pot-and-peg calls. They come in slate, ceramic and starfire crystal. Contact Hunter’s Specialties at (319) 395-0321 or www.hunterspec.com.
